North Carolina Oyster Festival Mid-October
The famous oyster festival now in its 28th year is held on Ocean Isle Beach during the 3rd weekend of October. People come from hundreds of miles to eat oysters, listen to great music, browse hundreds of crafts and vendor tents and enjoy the rest of the festivities. This is a party that you must make plans to attend if you're in town during mid-October.
Little River Shrimp & Jazz Festival October, 2007
Held in the beginning of October, 2007 marks the 3rd year of the Shrimp and Jazz Festival. Located along the gorgeous Little River waterfront, you'll be assured of enjoying great local food and music. Lots of arts and crafts and beach souvenirs and great food and drink. .
NC Azalea Festival Mid April
For 60 years Southeastern NC has been throwing a festive event like no other- be sure to be a part of this April 11-15, 2007. The Festival is a celebration of Wilmington's exceptional artwork, gardens, rich history and culture during its five days of entertainment that includesa parade, street fair, circus, concerts and all things SOUTHERN!!
