Sunset Properties' 1st Annual Kite Flying Competition

Sunset Properties will host their 1st Annual Kite Flying Competition on Saturday, May 9th. The competition will be held on Sunset Beach - by the Sunset Beach pier. Plan to meet at the Gazebo at 12:00 noon, and enjoy an afternoon of family fun and making new friends. Even if you don't plan on flying a kite, please stop by and enjoy a picnic on the beach and watch all the fun.

There is a $10 per participant registration fee. Print out a registration form and send it to us by May 6th. All proceeds will go towards the Bird Island Preservation Society. There will be prizes awarded for the following categories: "Best Kite Design", "Longest In Flight", "Best Homemade Kite", and an award for "Best Performance, Ages 12 and Under." Prizes will be awarded after the competition at the awards ceremony to be held at our Sunset Beach rental office, 419 S. Sunset Boulevard.

• Kite competition is open to both guests and residents
• All ages are invited to join in.
