Check the special rate for July 28th! Beach Retreat is an 8 bedroom home on the 3rd row perfect for your entire family vacation. The home is Linen Ready and dog friendly. A private pool, elevator, and a full-sized pool table are some of its features for the time your family spends off of the beach. The home is privately owned, and professionally managed by Sunset Properties. Check out the Very Reduced rate for the fall season as well-best value around!

The home has a reversed floor-plan design with the main living space on the top level. The home sleeps up to 18 comfortably. Beach Retreat was redecorated for the 2012 season, and the swimming pool was added as well. So 2012 renters will enjoy plenty of upgrades!

There are four bedrooms on the first level. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom-(king in one; two singles in the second). The third (two singles) and fourth (queen) bedrooms on the first floor each have private bathrooms with showers.

The second floor has three bedrooms, a living area with a full-sized pool table, and a stacking washer/dryer. Each of these three bedrooms (one with a king, one with a queen, the third with a bunk bed (twin on top; double on bottom) and a separate single bed to sleep 3) have private bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the king bedroom has a bathtub, the other two have showers.

The third floor has the master bedroom (king) and bath (both shower and garden tub), a living room with plenty of seating, a dining area, and kitchen and powder room. The dining table seats 10, there are two counter seats at the kitchen island, and then additional seating is available outside on the ocean-side deck or in the living room (we tend to spread out when we have a full house eating all at once). Most days, you can also cook and eat pool-side with the gas grill. You will find a 50 inch flat screen TV in the living room with plenty of cable channels and a DVD. The home has wrap-around decks on each of the three floors with relaxing ocean and marsh views. Beach access is a short walk down the block, and the actual access is handicap-accessible. The house has a membership to the Islander Resort, so guests have access to the four tennis courts nearby, and the oceanfront pool and restaurant. Your gang can walk to the courts; you probably will want to drive to the restaurant and pool if you go (those two are about a mile away).

There is a large gas grill located at the pool for your family’s outdoor cooking, and a 2nd full sized refrigerator in the large storage shed available for your use. There will be 8 beach chairs and a beach wagon for your use as well. If you need more, you can rent them through Rest a Shore Equipment Rentals (see their listing on the Sunset Properties Perks Club page).

There are a total of 7 TVs in the house (only one of the three bedrooms with singles has one-so the kids will not stay up all night watching TV). Each TV has a DVD player. The home offers a WiFi network for those that can not escape email or work while at the beach.

The home is dog friendly-up to two dogs are allowed per rental. We have two new dog kennels (one is large; the second is small) stored downstairs that are available for your use. When the whole family heads to the beach or out to eat, it is best to kennel the dogs up so they do not get upset or leave any surprises. Sunset Properties policy applies-there is an additional fee of $150 if you plan to bring your dog with you.

The home also is part of Sunset Properties Linen Ready program. Linen and towels will be provided as part of this rental, and the beds will be made upon your arrival. When you depart, just leave the linen in a pile by one of the elevator doors, and the housekeeping folks will take it from there.

There is an elevator available to every renter. It is not ast, so the kids will get tired of riding it by the end of the first day. But it helps carry luggage and groceries to the proper floor, and the older folks in the crowd will appreciate its availability instead of walking four flights of steps to get to the top!
