The IGA Grocery store is located on the mainland on the left just before the bridge onto the island. This hometown store offers a deli section with name brand cheeses and meats along with daily homemade meals including rotisserie chickens and fresh made salads. This store offers one of the area's best meat departments where the locals shop. A great wine and beer selection is available. Visit during your stay at Ocean Isle Beach- convenience and friendliness cannot be beat.
Beach Items
Salty's Surf Shop is located oceanfront beside the Ocean Isle Fishing pier. This is the place to go for name brand beachwear and beach items. A large selection of sunglasses and surfboards are always in stock.
Surf Unlimited is on the causeway on the left after you cross the bridge. This store carries the largest selection of surfboards and surf gear on the island. They offer a large inventory of used surfboards and the Ocean Isle Surf Academy.
Wave's Beach Store on the causeway just before the bridge onto Ocean Isle carries the largest selection of beachwear, beach gear and all your souvenir needs.
Ocean Isle Fishing Center - The first thing on the left when you cross onto the island, the Ocean Isle Fishing Center is not just fishing equipment. This full service shop features name brand nautical clothing and gifts from Sperry, Eliza B, On White, Bimini Bay, Kahala, Pelagic and more. In addition, the Ocean Isle Fishing Center has retail and rentals of fishing and site seeing kayaks.
Fresh Seafood
Captain Jack's Seafood is the place locals go to buy fresh seafood. Located on Beach Drive (Hwy 179) just 1/2 mile from the Ocean Isle Beach stoplight. Capt. Jack's carries fresh items brought in daily by local fishermen. Enjoy great local seafood and oysters in season.
Bill's Seafood is another locals favorite. They have a great selection of fresh catches including blue crabs and live bait. This busy fish market is on the left on Hwy 179, just 100 yards before the entrance to the Sunset Beach Bridge.

Madeline's Playhouse- is a fun store located in Ocean Plaza at the mainland base of the OIB bridge. It has great educational toys for kids of all ages! Bright and cheerful decor along with interesting items to choose from makes it a place to stock up on presents for the kids in your life.

Callahans Nautical Gift Store is a must see for any serious shopper.This huge store located in Calabash has every iimaginable nautical or beach souvenir. See their large collection of intricate handmade ships and boats- some are 10 feet tall and sell for over $10,000.00- yes that is ten thousand dollars. All things nautical, hats, t-shirts, clothing items, shells, jjewelry, handmade fish replicas and a year round Christmas shop with dozens of trees beautifully decorated.

Sunset River Marketplace is a 10,000 square foot gallery featuring work by local and regional artists from the two Carolinas.
