Thanksgiving Weekend Full of Great Events at OIB

Thinking of heading to Ocean Isle Beach for the Thanksgiving holiday?  You'll find lots of fun events to chose from that weekend, including these scheduled for Saturday November 30th:

2 pm: Christmas Parade-floats will move down 2nd Street from their start at the Museum of Coastal Carolina, and head back up 1st Street.  If you want to participate, plan to be at the parking lot starting at 1:15 pm that day.

5 pm: Christmas Tree lighting at the base of the bridge, followed by treats at the Fire Department.  Santa is scheduled to stop by as well!

5:30:at dusk, the annual OIB boat flotilla will start from Inlet View at Shallotte Point, and make its way down the ICW to the end in front of Sharky's restaurant in the commercial canal at OIB.  Plenty of good vantage points along the way to see all of the boats.  Consider the park on Shallotte Blvd at the east end of the island, or join the crowd between Sharky's and Giggling Mackerel Restaurants on the island.

Property owners can also plan on the annual POA meeting at the Museum Saturday morning at 9:30 am.

If you would like to join in the fun, visit the Sunset Properties website to find an OIB vacation rental for the holiday weekend.
