Museum Of Coastal Carolina-Ocean Isle Beach

This local museum houses the areas best collection of natural coastal and marine history. There is a great collection of sea life from live animal touch tanks to examples of native species found in and around our area. Mondays at 7 pm there is a "Nesting Sea Turtle Program" and children's afternoon programs during June- August.

Ocean Isle Community Center

This town operated center, located at 44 East 1st Street, is open to the public and offers free daily childrens activities Monday-Friday during the summer. Center hours are 9 am - 5 pm June 1- October 31. Public restrooms and picnic facilities are available.

Ingram Planetarium | Sunset Beach

This local gem houses an 85 seat domed theater providing learning experiences for the general public in the areas of astronomy, energy and all things planet related. Hands on exhibits as well as year round programs will excite all persons. Day and evening programs along with seasonal based learning programs make the planetarium a must see.

Fort Fisher Aquarium | Kure Beach
