2024 Weekly Concert Series

Enjoy free concerts at both islands this summer! The Ocean Isle Concert Series is held each Friday night at 6:30 from May 24th thru September 20th at the Museum of Coastal Carolina parking lot. The Sunset Sound Waves is held each Wednesday night at 6pm from May 29th thru September 4th on the mainland in the Town Park located at 206 Sunset Boulevard North. 

Local Markets

Ocean Isle Beach Summer Market is held every Tuesday 9am-1pm at 11 East Second Street. The market runs from June 6th until August 28th, and you'll find fresh coffee and produce and local artists. The OIB close-out summer special event market is scheduled on Saturday, Sept 3th from 10am to 3pm.

The OIB Holiday Market is a 1 day only event! Pictures with Santa will be made available by Pawsability for families, children and your family pets. Come check out the holiday "shops" for that one of a kind gift. Dec 2nd, 2023 from 10 am - 3 pm.

Area Festivals

Sunset at Sunset - Sunset Beach's favorite event is held annually the first Saturday in October and is the perfect one-day event during the perfect time of year. The community block party has entertainment all day, quality crafts and vendors, and some of the best food you'll find anywhere. October 5th, 2024 10am-5pm.

N.C. Oyster Festival - this award-winning event coordinated by the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce in October is held on the island of OIB. You'll enjoy lots of musical acts, crafts, and plenty of food-including great oysters! Join us for 2 days of fun! Saturday Oct 19th, 2024 from 9am-6pm or Sunday October 20th, 2024 10am-5pm.

Blue Crab Festival - This fun weekend festival is held in mid-May in Little River, SC-just a 15-minute drive from the island. Plan for the fun May 18-19, 2024.
