Recycling Program Expands on OIB

OIB vacation rental guests and homeowners have been able to recycle at a trash bin behind Town Hall in the past. Starting with the 2013 rental season, many of the Sunset Properties vacation homes now have curbside recycling available.
Homeowners have the option to sign up for the curbside program. Those that do will have a bright blue trash bin at their home. The pick up schedule this first year will be every other Monday through the year; Sunset Properties will notify guests on the actual days to make sure the bins are pushed to the street for pickup. We'll also have scheduled posted at participating homes, along with a list of items that can be recycled.
